Dorothy Catella is a Forensic Biologist with over 30 years of experience in the areas of Body Fluid Identification and Forensic DNA.  She is currently employed as the DNA Technical Leader of a government forensic laboratory.  Her forensic experience includes analysis of thousands of forensic biology cases, leadership positions, and she was integral in the implementation of biology at her current laboratory.

Ms. Catella has a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology and a Master of Science in Forensic Science.  She is active in the forensic community and is a member of the Scientific Working Group on DNA Analysis Methods (SWGDAM), International Society for Forensic Genetics (ISFG) and the Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists (MAFS).
